
Representing the Nordics region, Gabrielle Sjöquist is a core team member of the ADVANZ Women’s Network (AWN). Gabrielle works as Head of Quality situated in our Helsingborg office. Her interest in management and leadership is key to her involvement in the group as she feels “there is a huge potential in the female pool of the organisation and it is vital that we tap in to it to help us grow and to become better and stronger”.
Gabrielle finds great value in meeting her global female colleagues who she may not have the chance to interact with outside of the AWN, which has been a positive experience for her. She hopes that she can bring her own perspective, to inspire and influence, and to see how other team members work and live in their respective countries in comparison to Sweden. The AWN provides us with an opportunity to learn from each other and get ideas of how we can do things differently in our workplaces.
Diversity is also important to Gabrielle as she feels it will strengthen the business and unite us, not just from the female aspect but also including age, culture and other factors. She believes “there is huge potential within our organisation not limited to the female workforce” and we hope our network can positively influence our colleagues so that we can achieve not just gender parity but a true level playing field for all together.
